life part 8

hey peoples! tody wasnt quite as bad as usual!! so today 1st period in chorus i kept singing a bunch of wrong notes and kept squeaking really loud! then 2nd period i messed up on my art project! 4th period in gym i tripped running and fell on my face =( ggrr then after school i was waiting for my mom to pick me up but it turned out she was stuck in the driveway! so then i had to wait a half hour till the city bus came so when it was time i walked down state street to the corner to wait for the bus. i waited in the cold for a half hour and it never showed up!!!!! then, since i thought i had frostbite on my fingers, i decided to walk back up to the school to wait in there. i was about halfway up the hill and a bunch of plows came by. the 1st just went by but the second  plowed part of the snowbank so all the snow that used to be on the side of the road flew up and landed on my head. no joke. and i got a big chank of muddy snow in my mouth grr then my mom called and sayed that since she couldnt get out i should just stay there until the play at school that night because my sister was in it. that was ok except the play wasnt until 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so i stayed at school and i was in a corner in the hallway reading a book and eating pop tarts, almost asleep when the principal walked by to go to the play (it was finally about 6) and she looked at me and said oh, camping out are we?? she must think im really weird cause whenever i see her im doing something strange!!!!! then i went to the play and then when we got home my brother randomly decided to start yelling at me and slaped me and somehow i got yelled at for it... GGRRR anyway theres another normal day in my life im going to bed see ya =/

life part 7

well this could be a lot more than just 7 but half the time im too lazy to type out all the ridiculous things i do =) so 1st period today i had chorus and in our chorus room the is a 2 stepped platform aroun the outside of the room where we stand and today i was standing on the 2nd level and my feet slipped and i slip down to the 1st step and landed on my butt really hard right in the middle of our singing!!!!!!!! 2nd period i kept breaking my pencil tips in art, 3rd period in biology we were doing this experiment and for part of it there was brethole- something blue (some chemical) in a test tube and we had to stick a straw in it and blow becasue the carbon dioxide would change it's color. first, i couldn't get my safety goggles on, i finally did and the and i blew in the straw. apparently i blew too hard and i all came out of the test tube and squirted in my face, and half went in my mouth. i ran across the hallway and spit it out in the drinking fountain cause i happened to have some strange chemical in my mouth!! then i took a big drink and accidently turned the water fountain blue. about ten minutes later i was worrking on a graph, and my mouth still tased really bad then i realized i was still chewing my gum so i took it out and i was BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!! ughh then 4th period in gym i jammed my finger on a basketball. after school (haha and you thought i was done! =P) i was taking this ballroom dancing class in the hallway with some of my friends (dont ask!!!) and my friend accidently let go when i was spinning and i spun down the hall, ran into a wall and fell over (no exaggeration at all... unfortunately) then my head hurt cause i hit it. i walked down the hall to get a drink and i was drinking out of the fountain when it decided to squirt me in the face really hard!! then when i was walking down my road on my way home from school (hahaha you thought i was done again!) someone was going down the road really fast and talking on a cell phone and almost ran me over, a few minutes later it looked like another car was going pretty fast so i moved over a foot or 2 into the snow out off the side of the road the driver, on a cell phone was half off the road like 2 inches away from me! grr why do these things always happen to me??? grr any way see ya i'm done ranting =P p.s. i hate my life =P

Will you make a difference?

One day, when I was a freshman in high school, I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school. His name was Kyle.  It looked like he was carrying all of his books.  I thought to myself, Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday? He must really be a nerd.  I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friends tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on.  As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him.  They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt.  His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him.  He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes.  My heart went out to him. So, I jogged over to him as he crawled around looking for his glasses, and I saw a tear in his eye.  As I handed him his glasses, I said, Those guys are jerks.  They really should get lives.  He looked at me and said, Hey thanks!  There was a big smile on his face.  It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude.  I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived.  As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him before.  He said he had gone to private school before now.  I would have never hung out with a private school kid before.  We talked all the way home, and I carried some of his books.  He turned out to be a pretty cool kid.  I asked him if he wanted to play a little football with my friends.  He said yes.  We hung out all weekend and the more I got to know Kyle, the more I liked him, and my friends thought the same of him.  Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again. I stopped him and said, 'Boy, you are gonna really build some serious muscles with this pile of books everyday!  He just laughed and handed me half the books.  Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends.  When we were seniors we began to think about college.  Kyle decided on Georgetown and I was going to Duke.  I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never be a problem.  He was going to be a doctor and I was going for business on a football scholarship.  Kyle was valedictorian of our class. I teased him all the time about being a nerd.  He had to prepare a speech for graduation.  I was so glad it wasn't me having to get up there and speak.  Graduation day, I saw Kyle.  He looked great.  He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school.  He filled out and actually looked good in glasses.  He had more dates than I had and all the girls loved him.  Boy, sometimes I was jealous!  Today was one of those days.  I could see that he was nervous about his speech.  So, I smacked him on the back and said, Hey, big guy, you'll be great!  He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and smiled.  Thanks, he said.  As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began.  Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years.  Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach...but mostly your friends....  I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give them.  I am going to tell you a story.  I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he told the first day we met.  He had planned to kill himself over the weekend.  He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't have to do it later and was carrying his stuff home.  He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile.  Thankfully, I was saved.  My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable.  I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us all about his weakest moment.  I saw his Mom and dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile.  Not until that moment did I realize its depth.  Never underestimate the power of your actions.  With one small gesture you can change a person's life, for better or worse.  God puts us all in each others lives to impact one another in some way.  Peace.  Jesse
