"You want some of my sandwich?" I asked this guy I had never met before as I got onto the train. He politely said, "no thanks," and that was the end of our conversation. It wasn't the seasonal delight - fillet o'fish pictured here, but that interactive moment that has stuck with me, almost like the delicious calories packed into a square fish.
Once in Royal's David city... well, not Bethlehem, but Erie, Pennsylvania, CatholicConnection was founded. Later myCatholicConnection was created as the umbrella group for a new wave of "communication ministry." God has been communicating with us [all] for a very, very long time. Sometimes communication is called prayer, other times it is just called talking. The root of communication is "communion" - something we take seriously here.
We like to think that God is still inspiring people to be great people and do amazing things. Thank you Holy Spirit.
